October 2010 — "A very cute, simple, pet friendly motel located on the Left Side of the highway if driving west. All the rooms have been recently renovated with new furniture and land lines for a fast internet connection, and convenient bar fridges in every room. This is the best place to crash for the night when traveling through Vanderhoof. The rates are competitive with the other local hotels, so it is logical to get a nice, clean and comfortable room for the same price you pay anywhere else. There are only about fourteen rooms so it is a good idea to book a head as it seems to fill up rather quickly. The noise from the highway is my only complaint but it is a motel beside the highway so some noise is to be expected. It's in a great location for a quick walk to restaurants or stores. The mattresses are firm and comfortable, plus the added relief of knowing they were new, made for a good nights sleep at the Siesta Inn. "
