August 2007 — "My husband had made reservations in March 2007 for a 4night stay in abbott valley homestead in September 2007 In May 2007 our travel plans changed and we submitted a formal request to cancel the reservations. The timeframe of cancellation was well within the cancellation policy requirements. As of Aug. 8, 2007 we have yet to receive a refund from Abbott Valley. Many phone calls and emails to the owner have proved no avail as we have never been given any explanation or any refund. I would suggest to anyone not to even consider this rental as the lack of customer srvice and courtesy is despicable."
