September 2011 — "- very near to the Grand Canyon South Rim - nice rooms and hotel - breakfast buffet excellent - service excellent (check-in, questions) - room condition was very good, except bathroom (not very well cleaned, traces of the former guest visible)"

September 2010 — "We spent two nights at the Grand Canyon Resort and found it to be suffering from age and neglect. Our room had plaster seperating from the ceiling, wall paper curling off the wall, a small TV, outdated furniture in disrepair, a padded stool that had been scorched by an iron. The continental breakfast was mediocre at best and had us searching for a coffee cup that did not have lipstick or some other stain on it. While there were people there busing the tables, there was nobody there to help the customer. The ice machine on our floor did not work and we saw mattresses being stored outside under the second and third floor awning. All in all we had a one star experience at a four star price. We will not go back. We do not recommend this establishment."

October 2009 — "We stayed in a room with 2 double beds. The security card reader on the main building door wasn't working, so anyone could enter the building. The room had an adjoining door to the next room, like a motel, and wasn't very sound proof. There was no fan in the bathroom. There was water in the ice bucket. There was a missing light bulb in a lamp. This is not a resort. It reminds me of a few motels that I've stayed at. Okay value for a motel, but I didn't like the condition of the room, or the adjoining door."

March 2007 — "The room was clean, neat, and in order. The hotel staff was easy and helpful when it came to answering questions. The only complaint is that parking availability is inadequete. "
