June 2007 — "My wife, daughter, son and I spent three nights at the Super 8 Motel in Anoka, MN. We were looking for a fairly economical place to sleep, without a lot of amenities, and this is just what the Super 8 provided. The rooms were clean and motel's daily service kept them that way. Linens were plentiful and clean. The staff is receptive and professional. Their complimentary continental breakfast of cereal, milk, coffee, toast and fresh donuts was very much appreciated. The TV's worked, as did the AC units in each room. There was plenty of hot water to be had. Our very minor list of inconveniences (which we informed the motel about on their "Maintenance Needed" card) included a noisy shower control which screamed if not in the exact right position and a room door that didn't lock when we exited without using the entry card to do it. Motel staff assured us they could have fixed the lock problem immediately if we'd made them aware of it. The cleaning crew left our AC unit on full blast one day and the room was freezing when we got in that evening. All in all, a good stay at a fair price."
