March 2010 — "A girlfriend and I took a one-night trip to Banff just for the fun of it since she had found a good deal for the hotel online. We were checked in very quickly and were given a room on the second floor. It wasn't particularly modern, but it was clean. There were two double beds, a small table and a TV. There was no fridge, so we were forced to chill our beverages in the tiny ice bucket, which was a bit of an inconvenience. The windows opened so it was nice to get some fresh air in. The beds were fairly comfortable and for the price we got, it was definitely worth it. If I had paid over $100 for it, I might be disappointed since there were small things that were just old and in need of modernizing, but we got what we expected. The location is very convenient, as it is just a short walk from downtown restaurants and shops."
