October 2008 — "We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights over the thanksgiving long weekend. The hotel facilities were very clean and the room had two queen sized beds and was of average size. There was a mini fridge in the room which was nice. We asked for a crib for our daughter and when it was delivered it was an older play pen that was extremely unstable and unsafe. We asked for it to be switched with another one and they were able to do so. The hotel itself is right beside a railway track and although we heard trains early in the morning, we did not hear them during the night. The hotel had a pool and hot tub but the pool was very small and the water was cool. The hot tub was not in use which was disappointing. The hotel staff seemed to be ok to deal with. Not overly friendly but nothing to complain about. The hotel had two restaurants on site along with a gift shop. The hotel was conveniently located on the south end of Edmonton and the prices were average compared to other hotels in the area. I would recommend this hotel if you want a hotel with the amenities but nothing fancy."

"Thank you for you comments and I will personally follow up on the crib condition with our Exective Housekeeper. Regarding the hot tub, the unit was probably down for regular maintenance / cleaning and there was a day during the month where we had to replace the jet pump. Again, thank you for your feed back."
