December 2011 — "My husband, one-year-old son and I stayed at the Georgetown Inn for two nights over New Years. As soon as we stepped into the lobby I was instantly charmed by the cozy, welcoming, old-fashioned atmosphere. Tasteful antique furniture and artifacts were nestled in the corners and on the walls. And a help-yourself bowl of mulled wine greeted us by the front desk. The person at front desk was friendly and efficient, and our room was gorgeous... complete with two comfy armchairs in front of a fireplace and a Jacuzzi in the corner. Two tasty cookies awaited us on an heirloom side table... it's the little things that make all the difference! A very comfortable, king-sized bed and spotlessly clean bathroom confirmed we'd definitely made the right choice.
There's also a popular pub located at the inn--the Miner's Lamp--and it continued the nostalgic atmosphere of the rest of the property. We only ate there for breakfast (which is included!) but what yummy (and hearty!) breakfasts they were.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Georgetown Inn and are thinking of making it a yearly tradition :)"

"Cozy, warm, romantic Rocky Mountian Inn"Carlee
November 2011 — "I would recommend The Georgetown Inn to anyone who is looking for somewhere special to take a romantic night or weekend away with that someone special.
Everything about this place screams romance.
My Sister went last year, and had a great time so when booking our special night away before the rush of Christmas comes, we decided to give it a try.
We booked the Romantic Fall Getaway which really was a great deal.
It included one night in The Jacuzzi room, chilled wine, chocolate covered strawberries, and 2 gift certificates for the Restaurant downstairs.
One for breakfast and one for dinner.
We enjoyed every moment we spent together. It really was very special and romantic.
We will never forget our time and will be going back again I'm sure of it.
The service we received was excellent.
The room, clean, and alluring. The Jacuzzi was large, clean and fulfilling!
The wine chilled and ready upon arrival and we enjoyed chocolate covered strawberries together.
The inn was easy to find, and was beautiful inside and out.
With an old London town feel. A lot of work has sure been put into decorating and renovating inside.
You will sure to be impressed with everything about the Georgetown Inn in Canmore AB!"

November 2011 — "I took my wife on a getaway to Canmore last week. We have heard so much about the the Georgetown Inn , in Canmore.
Just a quick drive from the city, and what a beautiful drive it is!
The Georgetown Inn is situated in the quieter side of town.
Beautifully decorated throughout, with a classic london town feel.
Everywhere you look throughout there are old fashioned pictures, and memorabilia.
Inside you will find it is cozy and small a nice little inn.
We arrived on Saturday afternoon for our nights stay in Canmore.
We found GT inn with no problem at all.
We booked the fall romance getaway, which included the Victorian Jacuzzi room, chilled wine and chocolate covered strawberries in the room. As well as a $50 voucher for the Restaurant downstairs and breakfast in the room in the morning.
In total it was $215.00 Including taxes.
WE had a wonderful time in our room and only left to eat dinner downstairs. Everyone who crossed our path were happy to help us with anything we needed. The old London Town atmosphere made us feel as though we were somewhere else.
We will be going to Georgetown Inn again and again im sure! Its one of new faves by far!!!"

"Perfect little getaway!"
September 2010 — "If you are looking for a romantic getaway for a really good price, the Georgetown Inn is a great place to go. Canmore is so close to Calgary, and in a lot of ways, we even prefer it to Banff. It is much less congested and just as beautiful. The Georgetown Inn is a friendly little place that offers a very personalized experience. The staff are well trained in customer service and will go out their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable and memorable as possible. The Inn has 3 floors and is decorated with old typewriters, suitcases, and other olden day things. We took a bit of time to walk around and look at all the interesting things! The room itself was very clean and extremely cozy. I highly recommend the Victoria suite, with the fireplace, king-sized bed and double jacuzzi all in one room. I will mention that if you are a light sleeper, there were about 6 trains that went by in the night and it sounded as if they were running right through our room! Room service was great and all staff were just wonderful right though our entire stay! We will definitely be back. "

September 2010 — "I found the Georgetown Inn online while looking for the perfect getaway for my boyfriend's birthday. From the first time I called, they were nothing but helpful and eager to help make my experience special in whatever way they could. I booked their September special, which included a night's stay and dinner and breakfast for 2 at an EXTREMELY reasonable price. I was worried there would be a catch, but was met with nothing but great service. When we arrived to check in, my boyfriend was wished a happy birthday and every measure was taken to ensure our comfort. We were waited on like royalty. They had booked us into the nicest room they had and everything was clean and just PERFECT! We had a king sized bed, a double jacuzzi and a fireplace all in the same big, open room. It was so cozy and warm! We ordered room service for all of our meals and everytime I called the front desk, I was greeted by name and made to feel as though no request was too big or too small to be accomodated. We had the most amazing romantic stay for a price that didn't break the bank. We have decided to make it a regular getaway spot going forward. I would recommend The Georgetown Inn to anyone wanting a little romantic getaway. The memories we made will last forever. "
