February 2009 — "Upon Arriving in Edmonton I headed for my hotel in Leduc. It was a long day of travel, (my flight arrived @ 10:30pm) I was looking forward to getting to sleep. The drive from the airport after getting my rental car was quick...about 10 minutes. The hotel parking lot was laid out poorly, it did not take very many cars to make it "full" I had to park about 100 yards away and walk across a mix of icy and ankle deep snow..this annoyed me, it was a Sunday night. The reception was good, I got my room quickly and headed up..I was on the second floor and never took much notice that I was right beside the elevator - word to the wise - don't get a room right beside the elevator, all night I listened to it knock and whine as it went up and down, it kept me awake. The room was clean, but a problem I have with hotels is the bathroom, the tubs are far too small. I got the king sized bed option, (awesome). Other than that darn elevator the stay was good, a lesson learned."
