July 2007 — "Some friends and I went out to Sylvan a few years ago as a spur of the moment trip, obviously the only lodging available was the overly expensive lakeview hotels or the eccentric Sylvan Inn..
We went out for a good time, weren't overly obnoxious but it was nice not having to watch our tones. We had a soft bed and pillows to rest our heads and had breakfast every morning in the attached diner because it's seriously at par with Denny's. The lake was a brisk walk down the street so we didn't waste hours tryin to find a parking spot.
This place was by no means modern or five-star when I stayed, I viewed it as rustic and it sits well within the town."

July 2007 — "I have never stayed at a hotel that was so discusting before.. We paid $115 for a night.. When we got in our room we found an empty beer can under the tv stand aswell as another beer (un opened) under the bed.. The remote control was in a lil puddle of beer.. The toilet broke, there was a hole in the ceiliing. The sheets had rips in them and the floor was discusting.. I would never recomend this place to anyone."

"The worst hotel "teresa
July 2007 — " This place was soo dirty ,never experience before we have to sleep with our clothes on.We were not able to sleep at all during the nigth people were sceaming and partying,we call security twice and it did not help.
And we have to pay 100$ for the worst place ever ."
