March 2011 — "We stayed at the Sandman on Gaetz Avenue. The lobby is quite attractive and the elevators have good security in that you must use your room card to access the second to fourth floors. The staff was courteous and efficient. We rented one of the suites for somewhere around $130. It consisted of an open concept living area with couch, table and kitchenette, and a separate bedroom with a double bed. The couch also pulls out into a fairly comfortable queen bed. We got free Internet with the room and there was a comfortable table to do your work. The television was an older style, not one of the flat screens. Although the room seemed in good shape, the carpet was a bit loose and needed to be stretched. The condition of the bathroom was excellent. It was clean and well-maintained. Another nice feature of the hotel is that it is connected to a Moxies, and on a cold night, it is easy to grab some food and a beer without braving the elements. "
