April 2011 — "The Hotel part of the Banff Centre has a rustic feel. The rooms are standard, nothing fancy. Very clean hotel and rooms. Restaurants are not located in Hotel - but in other buildings on site. Food is pricey. $17 for buffet breakfast at the Restaurant. $60 for main course at supper. Restaurant/Bisto does not have a kid friendly healthy menu. I ended up ordering different entrees to pick apart for my son to eat. The pool/hot tub/kiddies pool is very clean and warm. Not busy with crowds. A bit hard to locate in the building, as there are no clear signs indicating "Pool this way". Wireless interent didn't reach the rooms. Had to take lap top to reception area - as did other guests. Parking is lacking. If your staying there, get your parking spot and stay put. If you leave the parking lot, your gambling with having a parking spot to come back to. Over all The Banff Centre gives the feel of a university campus. Great spot for conferences. Elk and Deer are all over the Banff Centre site. Very friendly. "

"Not Bad."

August 2008 — "Stayed in the hotel on-site at the Banff Centre and enjoyed it thoroughly. The hotel section of the site is filled with art pieces from the Centre's permanent collection, and the rooms contain pictures from past productions. Found just outside Banff's downtown, the Banff Centre also contains a gallery that is literally across the street from your hotel room, which is great for when you need to kill twenty minutes and don't want to watch television. To top it off, the Centre almost always has some type of live performance going on at night. "
