March 2010 — "I needed to stay overnight in Edmonton recently and stayed at the Days Inn & Suites West Edmonton. When you think of the Days Inn, a typical cheaper hotel comes to mind. My expectations were definitely not high and this hotel definitely exceeded them. The lobby was very clean and had a warm, professional feel to it. Check-in was a breeze and I was quickly on my way to find my room. When I arrived at my floor, the hallway was spotless but freezing! I don't know why it was so cold, but it was frigid. I found my room easily and was very impressed when I opened the door. It was simple, exceptionally clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, the television was easy to use, as was the alarm clock. I had dinner at the hotel's ConYac's Bar & Grill, which was very good. After dinner I watched some television and took advantage of the free wireless internet using my laptop (also very easy to use with the code provided to me upon check-in). Check-out was equally easy and if I ever need to stay in Edmonton again, I will go back to the Days Inn."

August 2009 — "Days Inn & Suites Edmonton West is a brand new establishment tucked away on a side street in the heart of the sprawled out shopping zone known as West Edmonton Mall. Walking into the lobby, with its high ceiling, spotless tile floor, fireplace, and welcoming sitting area, gives you that “wow” factor which is hard to find in mid-priced hotel chains. The front staff were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. A room key is needed to access the elevator which is an added safety feature. We a room with two queen beds. The room was well decorated and came with a coffee maker, refrigerator, free wireless Internet, and a big TV positioned high on a stand (making it easy to watch TV from lying in the bed). The Days Inn has a full-service bar and restaurant on the first floor open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Unfortunately, the Days Inn does not offer continental breakfast. Overall, this hotel deserves 4 stars."
