October 2008 — "Recently on our trip through British Columbia, we decided to stay overnight in Golden at the Prestige Hotel. It was the perfect decision as it had everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was like he knew me personnally. It was very refreshing to have a quick and friendly checkin after a very long day. Our room was huge with two really comfy queen beds. The bedding was wonderful with lots of pillows to spare. The bathroom was massive and although the building itself is dated, the fixtures were updated with a soaker tub. Everything was shiny clean, which is so important to me. We had free wireless connection, which was also instant. They have a lovely swimming pool and hot tub. The fitness centre had everything you need for a good workout. The Cappucinno Bar and Bistro had light lunches and take out. We were very happy with our stay here and would love to come back again. "

October 2008 — "On recent trip from Calgary to Vancouver Island, we stopped for a night in Golden. We opted to stay at the Prestige Mountainside Resort. It is along the main highway with the strip of motels, restaurants and gas stations. The exterior of the property looked acceptable and I noticed they had a cold beer and wine store attached to it. I could tell this was an older building but it is obvious that they have done many upgrades. The interior looked very nice and clean. And the staff at the front desk were very friendly and quick to check us in. After recently staying at some other properties, it was a real treat to have friendly, helpful staff. Our room had the standard two queens but was quite spacious. And the bathroom was large and modernly decorated. We didn't stay long enough to take advantage of the indoor pool, hot tub and fitness centre which all looked inviting. I can sum it up by saying that it was a very comfortable stay and I would definitely recommend a stay at the Prestige Mountainside Resort if you ever find yourself in Golden. Because of our good experience, I would even check out their other properties in BC. "

September 2006 — "This is a great hotel. I have stayed here twice and it is always clean (which is the #1 thing I look for in a hotel) and the staff are very professional. The front desk clerk didn't say anything when I checked in, but I think I might have been upgraded, as my standard room had a King bed and a nice sitting area with a couch. The have nice environmentally friendly bath stuff too and I really like the oatmeal soap."
