February 2006 — "After traveling several hours, sightseeing, it was refreshing to stumble upon this establishment. Unannounced and without a reservation (did I mention LATE at night), we were able to book a room for the night. The staff was incredibly helpful and thoughtful. The restaurant served a very large and delicious breakfast the next morning at an affordable price. I live in Lexington, KY, and if I'm ever in Monterey, I will definitely stay here again! "
