July 2012 — "I did not have a good experience at the Days Inn next to the Don Valley Parkway. It was not very easy to access. It required several twists and turns at major intersections to find, not something easy for a newcomer without GPS. The internet was fine when it was working but service was slow and often unhelpful - there always seemed to be a line-up at the front desk. The hallways were old and dirty. Breakfast was terrible. The donuts and bread were both dry. The room, for $100 a night, was okay. It featured two twin beds, a medium-sized television, a view of the parking lot, and a coffee maker. The bed was comfortable but not luxurious. The hotel was pet friendly but there were no parks nearby for a decent walk. There were also no restaurants within walking distance. I do not recommend the Days Hotel at the corner of the DVP and the 401. It is in desperate need of renovations."

"In Need of Upgrade"

July 2012 — "The Days Hotel at the intersection of the 401 and the Don Valley Parkway is in need of upgrades in several areas. First, the hotel unnecessarily charges patrons about $5 per day for parking for an under used, unsecured lot - why not just include parking in the room fee. The free wifi was also down for a 12-hour period while I was there. The front desk also could not recommend a restaurant in the area, instead handing me a list of addresses. Without a map, I had no idea where these places were located. The hallways were dirty and the carpet seemed worn and old. The free breakfast was not worth eating, consisting of powdered donuts and generic bread. For just over $100 a night, I guess I got what I paid for - a location within easy driving distance of the airport and downtown Toronto. The room itself was fine but I actually switched hotels after two nights here. I do not recommend this particular Days hotel."
