December 2010 — "I stayed at the Fox on a recent girls weekend and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't the typical bland hotel -- they really had interested decor with a definite rustic chic theme going on. All the rooms face inward to a courtyard, where there's a hot tub that's made to look like a hot springs. It's really cool, actually. I would definitely recommend a dip in the hot tub. My one complaint would be that the rooms are quite cramped. We had a room with two double beds and there was barely room for our suitcases, let alone room for us to get dolled up for a night out at the same time. But were weren't staying for long so we managed. Breakfast was included the next day, and it was quite good -- they had fresh waffles and a bunch of yogurt, juices etc. They also offered free parking, but like the rooms, the parking was painfully cramped. My friend scraped up her car getting into a space -- her fault, I know, but a little extra room would be nice. "

December 2010 — "The Fox in Banff is a great, newly renovated hotel on the main drag. Service is phenomenal. Check-in was fast and easy with the staff ready with our reservation which included keys, parking and bus passes, and continental breakfast vouchers. The lobby is very nice with a clean look and a small waterfall. Public areas are well looked after but most are outside. That means customers have to go outside to get to their rooms. That’s not fun if you are just trying to get some ice and it’s minus 20 degrees outside! The rooms are small but very clean and modern. The beds are very comfortable and all the couches are pullout beds. Our room also had a kitchen with a sink, microwave, and fridge. The room with a King bed for two was just over $150 after tax. Though we did not go in, their steamy pool area looked inviting. For an upscale overnight experience in Banff I would recommend the Fox for their great service and clean, comfortable rooms."

October 2010 — "We stayed at the Fox Hotel for a friends 30th birthday party and really enjoyed our stay. The new (or newly renovated) hotel's rooms were clean and modern. The wall paper was slightly hilarious but appropriate for Banff with bears, moose and elk all throughout the print. The beds were comfortable and everything was tidy. The only complaint is that the rooms are tiny. They're actually teeny tiny. We had four girls in our room which worked fine for a single night out but it would have been a real squeeze for more than a night or two. If we were to go back for longer in the future, I definitely wouldn't share with more than 2 people total in the room. Other than that though, it was great. We had a flatscreen TV and all necessary amenities like coffee maker and bar fridge. The best part of the hotel was the fantastic hot tub. It's modelled after the hot springs in Banff so the pool is massive and features 'rocks and mountain' overhead. They were also kind enough to give us a late check out after our late night out in Banff the night before. "

April 2008 — "We choose to stay The Fox Hotel and Suites and Banff after visiting the website and seeing the great photos of their hot tub! It is styled after the old Banff Cave and basin, including waterfalls, water jets and an open to the outdoors concept. The hotel it's self is a little far up the Banff strip, but can still easily be walked to get to the downtown core. The decore is very nice, with lots of rustic touches though out the hotel. Unfortunately we were not pleased with our room. The decore, tv and all the amenities were great... But the bed however, was not. It had sunk in on both sides where others have slept and was tilted up so you feet were higher then your head. Not very comfortable at all and this made for a very bad nights sleep. For this reason, I would not stay here again. " "
