October 2010 — "This is an older two level motel perched on top of the only hill in Vanderhoof. It is a pretty basic hotel but does the trick if all you need is a room to stay in. I had a kitchenette suite that had a little living area and a separate bedroom. Being on the hill, my bedroom had a great view overlooking the town of Vanderhoof. But, that being said, being on a hill also meant the semi trucks sometimes sounded as though they were going to come right through the door! I'd stay clear of the end rooms which are the closest to the highway. The rooms are well worn but clean. The TV worked fine and the kitchenette was handy to have even though all the butter knives seemed to have burnt tips. There is no air conditioning so I imagine a summer night can get pretty hot in there but in October, it was pleasant. "
