September 2009 — "My first time to Newfoundland...I found a home away from home at The Bumblebee Bed and Breakfast. The Hosts. Corey and Debbie made me feel so comfortable and provided a wealth of information about the historical town of Brigus and Newfoundland in general. My comfort was their top concern and the breakfasts were to die for!!! As an animal lover their two poodles, Toot and Whisper, added a special touch. The Property. Nestled off the road, the Bumblebee is located on a sprawling property with a nature lovers trail in the back. I was able to explore the enchanted forest which leads up to a rock face that must be climbed to enjoy spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and town of Brigus. Fear not, you won't get lost if you allow Toot and Whisper to be your guides...they will keep you on the right path. The Accomodations. I stayed in the Puffin Suite for five nights. More comfort and amenities than some hotels. A sitting room with TV/DVD, gorgeous queen size bed (best sleep I've had in years) and private bath/shower. As a first timer to Newfoundland I found the best B&B around. Look no further...any season...make the Bumblebee Bed & Breakfast top priority on your life list travel agenda."
