October 2011 — "After being away from this part of the world for some time, it was great to get back to Banff and enjoy our visit there. We opted to stay for a couple of days at the Banff Voyager hotel, after seeing the great rates online. Our check in was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size with two Queen beds that were comfortable enough. The bathroom was clean but the towels were skimpy and rough to the touch. We had a problem with the heat but the front desk sent up the mainentance girl quite quickly and she was able to fix it right away. She was a delightful person to deal with us and our problem You get the very basic of amenities and the dining room is not open during off season, except for breakfast. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone short on cash and wanting a getaway."

"A quiet sleep in Banff"

April 2008 — "The Banff Voyager Inn was filled with spring skiiers when we arrived, and I was a little worried it was going to be a noisy night. I was after a deal, so I wasn't expecting anything too fancy, but I was also hoping for a clean and quiet place to sleep. The staff was courteous right from the person who checked us in, to the person who let me back into my room when I locked myself out. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened up my door to see a king-size bed, a sliding door to the balcony, a large t.v., and a deep-green carpet that was stain-free. The cozy bed, great pillow, and clean bathroom outweighed the somewhat shocking pink and green combination rather reminiscent of the '80's...and the quiet! Other than some young guy who decided to really show off how loud he could rev his Neon to his girlfriend (yes, I had to get up and look - it was 2 am), there was very little noise at all. All in all, for $79, it was a good deal. "
