May 2011 — "Trendy downtown hotel in great location (walking distance to Rue Saint-Denis restaurants, Rue Catherine and the Old Port). We got a superior room through the internet for only $ 75 which was great value for money, especially since it included a fridge, coffee maker, flat screen TV and air conditioner. The decor of this hotel is very modern and funky and every room is different. If you are a perfectionist and look at the little details you will not like this hotel as many things are shoddily finished. The bed was very hard but fairly comfortable and the room quite large. We only got one very tiny towel each and there was no space in the bathroom to even put a toilet bag. We found the unusual decor fascinating with chandelier in the room and hardwood floor. Overall this is a shabby chic hotel which will appeal to the easy going traveller and offers amazing value for money. If you are used to the Hilton Hotel, then this is not your hotel! If they put on a few finishing touches and made some extra effort this could be an amazing hotel. The downside is that it is located on a busy road and offers no safe storage for bicycles. Highly recommended for budget travellers and people who enjoy the unusual. There is an amazing Diner called Denos next door which offers the best breakfasts. "
