July 2010 — "We spent two nights in the Loft Hotel on our honeymoon. The location is quite convenient; close to Sherbrooke metro station. The urban loft was modern and spacious ( I was shocked when I learned that what I had was the smallest room since I found it huge ) The staff was very friendly at all times. Breakfast was good and filling: best croissants I've ever had. There's a busy street just outside the hotel but the sound-proofing on the windows worked perfectly. Man, it's hard to find any flaws...thanks and see you again Secret De Paris"

"Amazaing place to stay in downtown Montreal"

July 2010 — "This was a our first time in Montreal and we didn't know what to expect. We'd heard that we shouldn't expect much out of a hotel in Canada because money doesn't go far and customer service is never as good as in the States. We were very pleasantly surprised by The Loft Hotel. Jimmy and his staff were very friendly and accomodating and answered all of our touristy questions. The rooms were also great. They had ample room for two people and also had a stove top, a coffee machine and a fridge. We had a room which faced the street, but had no problem with street noise and the curtains stopped all of the light- almost too much so because we missed breakfast two out of the three mornings we were there! The breakfast was basic, but enough to get you started in the morning. The location was perfect for people (like us) who don't know the city. It's about a 30 minutes from the shopping malls and Old Montreal and a few steps away from the subway station (very useful for getting around the city.) Overall we really enjoyed this hotel and would definitely stay here again."
