August 2010 — "Redcliff is almost part of Medicine Hat now and the Pallas is right on the highway. I know that this is usually a scary thought, especially when trucks are gearing down as they approach the city limits. However, I got a room on the other side, away from the highway, and it was great! Solid brick walls provided very good insulation from the noise and for $49 (including tax) it offered exactly what I needed. The double bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, the room was tidy and the bathrooms were clean. The only thing I could see that shouldn't have been there was a deceased bee on the window sill. OH, and the TV worked! While the motel was basic, it did the trick. The location is good because I could zip into Redcliff, Medicine Hat or Police Point Park very easily. There wasn't a restaurant within walking distance but it really didn't take more than a couple minutes to drive to a good spot. "
