March 2011 — "I played for a wedding dance in Macklin Sk. and stayed overnight at the CANALTA. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. The staff was very pleasant and courteous. I will recommend this as a definate stay over to friends and family. Also I put the "Please Do Not Disturb" sign on my door and unlike many places the cleaning staff respected the sign and allowed me to sleep late."

January 2011 — "I arrived at the Provost Canalta, very late, after a hairy drive from Calgary in poor visibility on treacherous roads. The agent stated he had no reservation for me. I had to haul out and start up my laptop to show him my reservation. (it was accurate!). He then sent me to a room (I had my arms full of bags/computer equipment!) which was not clean. I then had to bring everything back down to the front desk, get a new room and key, then haul everything back up to the second room. The whole process took at least 25 minutes! Not good. "
