May 2011 — "The Donald Gordon Conference Center has a small four story, 84 room hotel for guests that is affiliated with Queens University. Perhaps due to the smaller than usual capacity compared with its competitors, the staff seemed more laid back, talkative and friendly than what I've experienced at other hotels. The rooms fill up fast, so reserving ahead of time is a must. My room came with a queen sized bed, free wifi internet, a flat screen TV and cable. The bill ran 145 dollars per night and came with complimentary breakfast and healthy snacks from a vending machine that is constantly restocked. Guests also have 24 hour access to front desk and maintenance staff. The hotel encircles a nice patio area where one can eat and enjoy the nice summer weather. A nice touch I found were the chocolates left on your pillow after your room is cleaned. Rather than leaving a simple bulk purchased mint, guests receive such treats as chocolate dipped strawberries. There was also a fitness center that I unfortunately did not get the chance to use. I found the overall experience highly satisfactory."
