June 2011 — "This Motel belongs to the Econolodge Chain but definitely doesn’t meet Econolodge standards. Most of the staff didn’t speak any English and the receptionist was very unfriendly and almost scary. A continental breakfast should have been included in the price but we were charged $ 3 extra per person for breakfast. The American breakfast that we got was very good and definitely great value for money. The whole motel seems a bit run down. The pop machine was out of order and we had to get drinks from the bar, at a higher price. The remote control of the TV didn’t work but we didn’t have the guts to complain, as it was hard to communicate with the unfriendly receptionist. The check-out receptionist the next morning was very pleasant and spoke some English, so they also have some nice staff. Wouldn’t go there again."
