November 2007 — "This is a no frills (barebones) motel for those in brandon to work and who want to save money on accomodations. Its an old motel, but warm, reasonably clean and about the cheapest place in town. Owners are friendly and the little store is convenient. I have been here for one month and will probably stay for two more. If you only want a place to hang your hat/sleep and have a relatively peaceful night, and you are not one who requires amenities--then the Hillcrest is sufficient.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants to save their perdiem money, and just needs a place to sleep."
