January 2012 — "The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth is located in downtown Montreal. This is a 5 star hotel and I can see why. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very friendly and always there for questions or helping. The room was beautiful and they even upgraded me to a special Fairmont room. The bathrooms were very nice with granite tiling. The room was very clean. It isn't that fancy from the outside but the inside is stunning. I will be going back."

August 2011 — "The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth is well known and exactly what you would expect from a Fairmont hotel. I was fortunate enough to get a president’s club discount and was able to stay at a rate of $139/night. The second you walk into the lobby you notice the eloquence of this place and can’t help but be enamored. The room was incredibly spacious with two televisions and a pull out bed in a living room area. The bathrooms were well stocked and clean. I found that they could have used another person at the front desk as it took a while to get service but other than that my stay was complaint free. The hotel connects to the metro and the underground city of montreal directly from the elevator allowing anyone staying there easy access to the rest of the city if you are sightseeing. Valet service is also available for guest with a car. "

August 2011 — "This beautiful luxurious hotel is within a few blocks of the Berri-UQAM metro station in the heart of downtown Montreal. I arrived in the city in the midst of a hurricane, so I was pleased to find that it even connects to the metro through an underground tunnel! The lobby of the hotel is already beautiful, and the bilingual concierge is more than helpful. I stayed at the one bedroom suite, which had a comfortable king sized bed and a pull out couch in a separate joining room. The bathroom is a standard hotel washroom, with large bathtub/shower, plenty of towels and even a nice bathrobe! The complimentary shampoos and lotions smell lovely as well! There were plenty of comfortable pillows to pick from as well, so I had a wonderful night's sleep. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I felt pampered and relaxed. The bill is steep, but sometimes it feels nice to be spoiled!"
