October 2008 — "The Iluka Holiday Centre is located in Coles Bay where Tasmania's famous Wineglass Bay is found. It is a beautiful spot and a charming little town. We were hiking until late in the day and didn't pre book any accomodation so we felt very lucky to find Iluka Holiday Centre. You can choose from a large house style, a smaller cabin or camping or caravan sites. We opted for the smaller cabin option as it was really all we needed. It was a part of a mobile home redesigned to make a small cabin. It had 2 bedrooms, one with multiple bunkbeds so you could, in theory, fit a family. The communal space is quite small though so it would be most comfortable with only a couple people. The cabin was really cold and we couldn't warm it up (we even had the oven door open at one point to try to get some heat!). But there was a heated blanket which helped when sleeping. The grounds are located just a short jaunt away from the beach and if the weather is nice, it would be a pleasant spot to spend a few days. Iluka Holiday Centre is an economical option to be able to stay in a beautiful and expensive must see area of Tasmania. "
