September 2007 — "The hotel was clean and functional. Solvang is a great place to visit, and this was a good home base. Our only complaint isn't really a complaint: we had wanted a different hotel in the center of Solvang, and it wasn't clear from the internet listings that this one wasn't it. Not that this mattered much: Solvang is about a half mile long, so the fact that this hotel was on one edge of town didn't change things. Good breakfast, clean rooms, attractive pool, perfectly fine hotel. "
