April 2008 — "We stayed at this hotel on our way down the west coast from Carmel to L.A. International Airport. The check in was efficient. The rooms very good, comfortable and clean and the person on reception was very helpful. There were places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. "

March 2008 — "We arrived at 7 pm. Though there were a variety of hotels in the area, the town itself seemed to have closed. The Best Western, itself was nice. Staff were efficient and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. It may have been the only place open but it was good. Angelicos. The room was clean. The pool was heated. They have breakfast there, but we ate at the Pancake place down the street which is a must."
