August 2008 — "The Ocean View Motel is the nicest large accommodation in the town of Rocky Harbour. It prominently sits on the main road and overlooks the entire harbour. It features two levels of rooms, the second level rooms with balconies. Dealing with the front desk is a pleasure. Checking in and out are easy processes and late check-outs are not a problem. They even can help with booking tourist-type outings and answering questions about the local area. The rooms are decent with queen beds and cable television. The walls are thick but the doors are a bit thin and late night partiers coming from the Motel lounge do make some noise out in the hallways. The price of the rooms are a bit high but not out line with other accommodations in the area. A two-person room costs about $120. The motel is also central to and in walking distance of restaurants, convenience stores, and drinking establishments. The Ocean View Motel is a decent place to stay in Rocky Harbour."
