June 2009 — "We just returned from a weekend wedding at Beachwood and from start to finish it was incredible! The staff were very friendly and knowledgable - they even helped me out when I forgot my hairspray (they gave me theirs!) - exceptional customer service! The wedding itself was nothing short of spectacular. The bride arrived by pontoon boat and started her walk down the aisle from the dock. The wedding arch overlooked the lake and with the islands in the background - it made for beautiful photos!! After the ceremony, we entered the dining room and had a meal that defied words. It was so incredibly delicious - I can't say enough about it. We had prime rib that was so full of flavour and tender that I ate every single bit! It was probably the best wedding I have ever attended, and I would reccommend this location to anyone. I enjoyed it there so much that I will definitely be back for a vacation!"

July 2007 — "We stayed here last year for our vacation and loved it. We have 2 small children (9, 5) and found that there was lots for them to do to keep busy. The morning kids program and an afternoon of tubing made them very happy and tired kids. The cottage we stayed in was very clean and the food in the restaurant was to die for! I started searching for another resort to stay at in the area - just for something different - but when I talked to my husband and kids - they voted not to mess with a good thing - they want to return to Beachwood and so do I."

Description

Beachwood Resort has been family owned and operated for over 75 years. The Resort is situated along the unspoiled water of Deer Bay on Lower Buckhron Lake. Supervised children activities run during the week. Facilities offered include Waterskiing/tubing, watertrampoline, heated outdoor pool, canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, tennis, childrens playground, and more. The resort also hosts weddings and conferences as well as large groups for fishing or retreats. A variety of accommodation possibilities exist.
