January 2009 — "Stayed at this hotel for a business trip Jan 15th - 18. Very nice hotel. Arrived at the hotel around 9pm at night, was greeted very friendly at the front desk - check in took 3 minutes, if that. Very nice and modern lobby. Check in staff were very courteous and friendly and eager to help me in any way. Went up to my room after and it was very nice - modern furnishings, nice tv. The beds had new bedding. The bathroom was totally stocked with items that went above and beyond. Room was great, no complaints. Free breakfast each morning in a large room on the 2nd floor, very good. Overall a nice stay, I would stay again. We were close to the Chinook Center Mall (though I didnt get to shop :o( lol - probably 10 mins walk or so away.) One tiny downside - no restaurant on site. So if you get in later like I did - good luck with dinner. But there are many restaurants in the area. I looked up Papa Johns in the guest directory and had it delivered. "

August 2008 — "August 2008 (Month Visited) "On our recent trip to Calgary we chose the Econo Lodge in South Calgary for two reasons. It was fairly close to where we needed to be and the rate was excellent. The staff checking us in was very polite and helpful. We only briefly noticed the many repair trucks in the hotel parking lot. Our room was big with a king size bed that was very uncomfortable with a mere two pillows. The staff were kind enough and quickly brought me extra ones. We had wireless highspeed and a coffeemaker and a refrigerator. This is also a pet friendly motel for a small fee. They have a free continental breakfast available. There a many different types of eateries nearby. There is a lot of renovating going on at this hotel and it did get noisy at times and hopefully we will return again if and when it’s all finished "

July 2007 — "The hotel rooms need to be updated. The pillows and bed were not very confortable. The room decore was from the early 80's. Carpets in the room had burn marks. No internet service in room. Overall the hotel was clean, but could use so TLC in the confort department."
