September 2006 — "We stayed here after making reservations by phone. Upon arriving we were told that because we had made reservations by phone we could not use the AARP Discount. On the phone we were told that the pet fee would be $15 per day. Upon check out it was $45 instead. The rate -- $95 -- was outrageous for what was, at best, a typical cheap motel room with bad television reception, dirty carpets, etc. The breakfast provided was poor and poorly maintained and the staff at the front desk were not friendly or helpful. This motel used to be part of a different chain. It was, I believe, better before it became Days Inn. "
