September 2009 — "In some ways, this is not really a B&B. The owner does not live on site and the setup is more like a small hotel or boarding house. The ambiance, the personal touch one expects in a B&B, in other words, is lacking. Having said that, the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, the hot water plentiful and the breakfast filling. The staff seem to be one perpetual smile and go out of their way to make your visit pleasant. This is not a B&B for a couple looking for a romantic getaway in the mountains, but for somebody traveling through or on business, it would be just fine."

Rocky Mountain Bed & Breakfast is an intimate high-country inn situated three blocks east of Banff Avenue on Otter Street in a quiet residential neighbourhood. This charming historic home was built in 1918 and features 10 guest rooms and a gorgeous main lounge and dining room. Double rooms, suites and a one-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen are available, all of which are non-smoking. Every morning guests are treated to a full hot breakfast.
