May 2012 — "This weekend, our trip to Edmonton landed us a one night stay at the Comfort Inn Suites downtown and I can say that I was rather happy for what we got. I was informed upon arrival that there was a random selection for a room upgrade and we were moved to a king size bed. It's not like the room was amazing, but it was bigger and more spacious than I expected, especially the washrooms. Included on our reservations were 2 breakfast meal vouchers, free wi-fi and free secure parking. I was rather happy and very comfortable with the room that we got. Yes, there were some snafus. Apparently, the room key cards can be activated rather easily, as there were other people up at front desk making reference to the de-activated key cards. And we were one of these victims. Other than that, the freezing A/C was so cold. Walking down the hall, though it was a fresh airy environment, the hall was so cold you can't really walk to the elevator without a jacket. All in all, a very good hotel and I would definitely make my stop if we are looking for a hotel for a stay at night. "

"Great Place, Weird Pool"

April 2008 — "This hotel is very nice inside. The staff was friendly and fast, and the continental breakfast had a waffle maker and all the fixings for some good waffles (which is better than what you get at most hotels). The security was really good, but the parking lot needed a little work and could use some more lights at night. The only weird thing is that the pool is rather small and there are rooms that the window look down onto the pool. Just a little creepy! But if you are going to Edmonton, skip the pool at the hotel and go to West Edmonton Mall's pool! It's wayyyy better."
