September 2008 — "On a recent stay in Calgary, we chose the Days Inn South because of the good rate and the location. The staff who greeted us, was friendly and helpful. The lobby is quite large and impressive. They have a wonderful salt water pool and they also have a gym and fitness area. Our room was adequate and the beds were comfy. The extra pillows were a plus and the bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom was very small and the toilet had cracks all around the base. There were lots of fluffy towels available. Our room had a mini size coffee maker, perfect for making just one cup. The room also came with a frig and free wireless internet. There is a good size breakfast room with a continental type breakfast available. The Belgium waffles were a treat. The cut up pieces of grapefruit and oranges were very fresh and I thought they were a great item. Other than the lovely lobby, we found the hotel to be quite dated and in need of some much maintenance. "
