September 2006 — "I was very pleased with how well I was treated. Prompt service with a smile. There were two telephone calls waiting for me when I got to my room. The first was an automated one welcoming me and the second was from the front desk asking me if everything was ok. It certainly was as the room was well set up and very clean. The motel itself is very well set up. I used the pool and found it to be well maintained. You can get snacks from vending machines, as well as full meals that you can prepare in a microwave oven in your room. The hot breakfast was very good, with lots of room to sit. Likewise the meal area is very well managed and kept clean. One thing that I really liked was the fact that it is only a five minute walk to down-town East Aurora, which has lots of good quality stores and restaurants with excellent food. One thing to check out which is just off of the parking lot of the motel is an historic grave yard that is notable for having vetrans of the American Revolution (!) buried there, not to mention the Civil War. Likewise take a walking tour of the neighbourhood around the motel, which has some excellent examples of home design from the early to mid 20th Century, all in excellent condition, and many with beautiful gardens. So if you want the best of small town America with big city features, this is the play to stay (and reasonably priced too - not to mention family friendly). Oh, and it's absolutely quiet at night as well. "
