February 2011 — "The Days Inn Downtown is an affordable alternative to many other hotels located in the Edmonton core. Its central location is a quick walk away from any amenities you might need during a night's stay. There is a small restaurant downstairs (which was closed at night on our visit), Sobey's grocery store a few blocks away, and Boston Pizza across the street. There are also night clubs located a brisk walk down the street which include popular venues such as Vinyl and Oil City Roadhouse. This is a two and a half star hotel so don't show up expecting world class amenities. The rooms were clean but the beds were much too soft to offer much back support. I felt like I was sinking into them. The size of the rooms was also quite small but again this is a two and half star hotel and you get what you paid for. Overall, if you are on a budget it does offer a night's rest at an affordable price."

June 2007 — " Located in the core of Edmonton, the Days Inn served its purpose during my stay. You get what you paid for, being the least expensive hotel I found in Edmonton. Unfortunately, the hotel is undergoing renovations. Thus their one elevator does not function properly, some levels are closed off, and the reception area is covered in newspapers and plastic. My room, which was located on the fourth floor, also served its purpose, which was a place to sleep for the night. Unfortunately, the air conditioning seemed to only work for one side of the room, not the other, since it was turned on all night, but I woke was still feeling warm. My friend, was nice and cool in the other side of the room, and I was not. I recommend this hotel to be used only as a last resort, hopefully once its renovated their guest will be happy. "
