September 2010 — "Very disappointed in stay, only had room across from elevator left, was supposed to have 2 park passes to WEM, hotel wouldn't honor deal. I even called ahead to make sure they were included and was told they were but upon check in the hotel refused to give me them. Hotel was dirty, beds were worn out, rooms were very tired, hallways were filthly, High speed wireless was very low on bandwidth and took long time to load anything. I can go on and on, would not recommend staying here unless you have no other choice."

August 2010 — "Well if you are looking for a cheap place to stay - the kids had fun, an ok pool for younger kids, a hot tub for us. the room was cleaned however the building is falling apart, the elevator was terrifing I took the stairs after my 1st elevator ride. Staff was polite and helpful, smittys made a good affordable breakfast , close to the West edmonton mall. easy to find if from out of town. it certainly wouldnt win any stars for decor or appeal, however it was a place to sleep and have a good breakfast while in town for the weekend. "
