May 2010 — "Without having reservations the staff at Ocean Palms motel welcomed us and quoted very reasonable rate for our room, which we did not hesitate to accept. She gave us a map of the town and suggested a couple of restaurants when we asked. We were delighted to have such a spacious room with a King bed that was very comfortable and filled with pillows. Washrooms were very clean with plenty towels, water was hot for showering. Even on the second floor & near the main road, it was quiet at night to rest. We did not use the pool but could see it was very clean. The parking lot was well lit. It is a very short walk to the ocean, pier, town shopping and restaurants. Recommend this motel to any traveler. Impressed that they allowed another couple of cook on a coleman stove on the grassy area too. This motel was very accommodating to all."
