April 2009 — "Quality Inn Edmonton Airport (in Nisku) is a very friendly and convenient hotel to stay in because it offers a free shuttle to the airport, which is shared by all the surrounding hotels, so be prepared for the shuttle to stop numerous times. Plan for the trip to take 15 minutes. Another convenient aspect is that you receive 7 days free parking with one night's stay ($5/additional day). Beware: the hotel only has about 25 long-term parking spaces which are on a first come, first serve basis, but there is an inexpensive long-term parking lot company just across the street if it turns out there are no spaces. Free continental breakfast is typical: muffins, cereal, toast, juice, coffee, and yogurt. The lobby is welcoming, with a fireplace and a computer with Internet for guests. The hotel has two wings. The old wing does not receive a wireless signal for Internet, so the only option is to request a cable from the front desk, which is very short. The hotel restaurant's food was sub-par, even a cheeseburger with side salad was not very good. The lettuce was extremely wet, and the burger had processed cheese, a soggy bun, and cost a dollar extra to have onion slices added. Overall, the hotel was a good value for $117 with the 7 days free parking and continental breakfast. The hotel is good, just stay away from the restaurant. "
