October 2011 — "Just spent the night at the Hidden Ridge Resort in a deluxe one bedroom condo with a loft. Upon arrival we were checked in quite quickly by the friendly front desk staff and took a look around the lobby and out at the hot tubs. Beautiful view up there on the mountain! When we entered our condo we were very satisfied with the size of it! We had just four people in our party, so the three queen beds (2 in loft) one in the bedroom were great! The condo could actually sleep up to eight guests with the pullout sofa! It also had a full kitchen, a dining room table, a wood-burning fireplace and a balcony. The condo was very clean and cozy. We didn't end up using the kitchen at all, but we did have a fire which was pretty nice. The only drawback (which was minor), was that there was just one couch, so when all of us (just 4) wanted to sit and chat there wasn't enough furniture for us to sit in the living room, and some had to sit at the table. My nephew and I ended up using the hot tub, which was really relaxing. Another thing I loved about this resort is that it was off the main road, so traffic wasn't an issue. I learned that some rooms are pet-friendly so next time I might bring my dogs! "

"Santa Fun!"

December 2010 — "We headed up to Banff for our family tradition of the Santa Claus Parade the first weekend in December. We had the Santa package which included a room with breakfast, a smores packages and of course - cookies and hot chocolate with the big guy! Our room was clean and spacious. We ended up getting to the hotel early and they let us check in early. We checked in, had a little rest and then went back into town to watch the parade. When we got back to our room later that evening our breakfast package had be delivered. This would be our only complaint. They left it sitting on the table in stead of putting it in the fridge. Everything was warm - milk and eggs included. Yuck! We then went to go and visit Santa. While I think I would without question stay at this hotel again, I don't think I would pay for the Santa package. It was a bit of a let down for our little girl. The Santa wasn't the best and she just wanted out of there! Could have been an age thing - she is almost 6 and in her mind I don't think Santa has an Australian accent - but it was fun never the less The hot tubs were awesome....but it was freezing out - so it was quite a chilly walk back to our room! All in all we were very happy and would book here again! The service was outstanding! These guys really know how to make you feel welcome! "

"Great mountain lodging"

November 2010 — "I stayed at the Hidden Ridge Resort with a few girlfriends on a ladies weekend away and we really enjoyed the hotel. The rooms were spacious and a great value for money. The bedroom had 2 double beds and we also had a living room space with a pull-out bed so there was plenty of room for four people. It was nice to have the living space as well with a kitchenette, dining table and seating. The room would have been perfect for a ski weekend with friends because there was plenty of room for cooking, eating and visiting. The room also had a fireplace which would be great after a cold day on the mountain. The staff was incredibly friendly and the room had all necessary amenities. The hotel's hot tub is quite large and overlooks the mountains. It's a pretty idyllic place to chill out. Our only concern was that it is on the mountain rather than in the townsite which we were concerned would make going out difficult. However the hotel offers regular shuttles in and out of the town centre and a cab only cost about $5. "

"Beautiful and quiet"

December 2007 — "My husband and I had initially booked a queen room, but were unhappy about being on the lower floor, so the resort upgraded us to the loft room, which was stunning, and for a discounted rate. The view was gorgeous and the fireplace in the room made it perfect. We were in walking distance of town, but off the main drag so it was not as busy. We'd definitely stay there again."

Tucked away on Tunnel Mountain, Hidden Ridge Resort is quiet and secluded with some of the most spectacular views in Banff and the Canadian Rockies. Featuring three distinctive condominium-style units, including one-bedroom units that can accommodate up to four people. The loft units accommodate up to six people in two separate sleeping areas, and the Premier units can accommodate up to 10 people on three levels. The modern condos at Hidden Ridge Resort feature wood burning fireplaces, full kitchens and patios or balconies. As a bonus, children under 16 stay for free. This is a dog-friendly hotel.
