October 2010 — "I can't say enough about the beds in the Holiday Inn in Red Deer! Overall, I really enjoy this hotel and the staff do a great job of taking care of their customers. My room was very clean and quiet - I was on the 3rd floor and the view was the cityscape. Extra complimentary coffee was in the room, along with a good selection of teas. My only complaint is with the stupid radio clock - honestly, I could not figure it out! My colleagues also at the conference complained of the same thing. Unfortunately I ended up depending on a wake-up call which never came...not good. On the up side, the hotel offers a complimentary wine bar in the evening complete with wine, beer and hot food, and a complimentary breakfast that had a great variety of coffees, teas, eggs, cereal, fruit and yogurt. I was very impressed with the front desk service and the general friendliness of the staff. My one major complaint would be that the public bathrooms were quite dirty - they really did not look as though they had been cleaned in days - the walls were filthy in fact. The rest of the public spaces appeared very clean and the restaurant (Smitty's) had great service, friendly staff and also seemed very clean. I would recommend this hotel - just get someone to show you how to use the alarm! "

November 2007 — "The Holiday Inn Express is a fabulous hotel. We were greeted by a lovely, professional customer service rep. Our check in was quick and easy. The hotel was decorated with lovely Christmas decorations, it felt warm and inviting. Our room was perfect and felt luxurious.....it too was warm and cozy. Check out was also professional and quick. It's a five star hotel for a quarter of the price. "
