March 2012 — "On a business trip in Edmonton, I was booked to stay at the Sheraton Four Points hotel. When we arrived, the front desk attendants were very warm and friendly. We were promptly attended to and advised of where our rooms were located. I was in a standard room with 2 queen size beds. Approx. half an hour after checking in, I noticed that the voicemail box light was on. I checked the message and it was the front desk attendant welcoming me to the property and ensuring that everything was okay with the room. A nice gesture I thought. The rooms are heated and cooled by an airconditioning/heating unit near the window. With the weather being on the fridged side, I turned up the heat on the unit. This was the most annoying element of my stay. Every half an hour this loud heating unit would turn on and wake me up throughout the night. Although the room and service itself were good, I did find this one element to be less than satisfactory. If I needed to stay in a hotel for one night, I might consider this. However, for longer stays, I would definitely look at another property. Especially considering that my rate was $155/night."
