March 2009 — "CampusTower Suite Hotel is ideally located on the edge of the campus of the University of Alberta. It is also within just a few easy blocks to the University Hospital. As the name suggests, these are truly suites. A well equipped kitchenette is much appreciated when a stay is of any length, as was my three weeks while a family member was a patient at the hospital. Within the building is an excellent restaurant, although it has no interior walkway. The parking is covered and attached. A fitness room is available to all residents, as is a business centre also available with just the room card entry needed for access. The suite I obtained had a separate bedroom, with a studio bed in the living room, so that four people would be very comfortable here. The rooms were spacious and made for comfortable living away from home. The heating system was one of the best I have found in hotel rooms, since it was quiet, and adjusted well to the preferred temperature. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Although these suites are quite expensive, one needs to consider the hastle of city driving, the proximity of a delightful grocery store, and the comfort of the suite. I would recommend this business for anyone who has reason to be at the University or the hospital for a period of time, or even for someone with other city interests who wants the 'feel of home'"
