April 2011 — "My partner and I went up for Easter weekend and we loved this hotel. We often go up to Banff for a weekend away and this hotel had the most to offer for the price. We had a loft room with a king size bed and fireplace. The room was great, clean and comfortable. The service was outstanding at every encounter and we really enjoyed the pool area. We both agreed this is our new place to stay in Banff!"

"Reasonable Hotel in Banff"

October 2007 — "I didn't expect too much from Charltons Cedar Court in Banff but the motel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We were able to just walk in on a Saturday afternoon to find a room as October is off season in Banff. It is a motel style place with access to outside from every room and is about a 10 minute walk to downtown Banff. There is a small indoor pool and hottub that we didn't use but would be nice if you had kids or were there for longer. The hotel is clean and the staff were very friendly. Our room was great. It had a large comfortable bed and a couch area. The best part was the large bathroom and shower. There was tub and a seperate large glass shower that was a treat to use. There were comfy, soft robes for use in the room and the bed was very comfortable. The Charltons Cedar Court is affiliated with the Delta Hotel next door so they have some of the Delta comforts for a much more reasonable price. The room was about $100 plus taxes but again, October is off season in Banff. Even if it is high season and the price is more, the Charlton Cedar Court is a good choice to stay in while in Banff."

Description

Located in a quiet setting, close to downtown, Charlton's Cedar Court offers a variety of tastefully decorated guest rooms and suites. Kitchenette rooms are perfect for families. Sleeping up to four, these rooms have two separate sleeping areas and are fully equipped including a stove top, fridge and sink. Cozy loft rooms feature a seating area with TV and fireplace on the main level and a spiral stairway leading upstairs to the loft with king bed and second TV. All rooms are equipped with full bath/shower, telephone, hair dryer, coffee/tea maker and cable TV. The Cedar Court has an indoor pool, whirlpool, steam room and offers covered parking.
