August 2008 — "We were unaware at the booking of our reservation that the motel was under construction. Rooms smelled of mildew, chairs had stains on them, windows were dirty and unsecure. The door lock gave us and cleaning people problems - very hard to open. So, our room was unable to be made up and we had to get our own fresh towels, cups, etc. The power died when I was blowdrying my hair. Maybe after all construction and room updates are complete, the motel will be fine. Right now, I would not recommend it. The front desk was very accommodating. "
