April 2010 — "The rooms were clean and the beds were brand new so they were very soft and made for a comfortable night's sleep. The room had a nice view of the river valley in Calgary. The cleaning staff greeted us and asked if we needed anything. I was disappointed with the front service desk. Upon arriving none of the staff greeted me until I initiated contact. The woman who took care of my check in forgot to give me the pass for the parking so I paid more for parking than I should have. Later when I complained to management they argued with me for about 10 minutes before conceding a complimentary breakfast. I have had better service from front desk and lobby staff in lower rate hotels."

Oops-a-Dazy Rescue and Sanctuary Society is inviting dog owners to have a night out on the town with their four-legged friends. This annual gala will feature a plated dinner for guests and dogs, a fashion show, special grooming touch-ups, professional photos, special presentations and a silent auction. Proceeds from this event will go towards providing shelter, care and adoption services for dogs, cats and a variety of farm and caged animals. Dogs must be pre-registered for this event after purchasing tickets.
