June 2009 — "This is by far the best resort in Canada, our kids had so much fun because there is so much to do there, cart rentals, bike rentals, petting zoo, mini golf, arcade, paddle boats hay rides, etc etc. The owner is the most friendliest owner I have met, even though he is so busy he always seems to have time to say hi and make you feel welcome. The sites are great, and the reservation office is so helpful. Our family will be back ever year, I can not imagine any other place to go to when this is the best. Very family oriented and great security."

"Ol’ MacDonald had some fun…eieio…"

August 2008 — "This was our first visit to the campground and had looked forward to it all summer. There were so many people that told us how fabulous the campground was and just about everyone that we mentioned Ol’ MacDonald’s to, knew of the campground or had been there. We were lucky to get a fully serviced site after someone had cancelled. Our site was long and narrow and quite uneven, but it was nicely treed. The campground has several large group area sites, has a small motel and also some cabins.
There were so many activities to do: go-kart rental, indoor mini-golf, arcade, petting zoo, train ride, old fashioned merry-go-round ride, lots of playgrounds, and, of course, the beach. Located on the south side of Buffalo Lake, they have a large beach with the nice sand that everyone loves. If you needed supplies though, you would have to run to Erksine or Stettler which were 5 min and 15 min away. One of the days it was raining, we went into Stettler to their rec centre which had huge kiddie pool and a waterslide. We will definitely go back to this campground again but it is hard to get a reservation because they book over a year in advance.

July 2008 — "This resort is unbelievable, this is the best i have ever been too. The owners kevin and jean (mother,son operation) are the nicest most accommadting people ever. There is everthing at this resort that you can imagine, the most family orienated campground, everything geared towards familys--with lots of activities and items to rent. The lake is great with lots of sand on beach and on the lake you can boat, waterski, fish whatever you choose. Everything on this resort is well groomed and clean, the kitchen is great, best food ever and lots of treats for the children. I reccommend this resort to anyone who wants to have the best time ever camping."
